NYC Trip: Georgia O’Keeffe’s “Visions of Hawai’i”$130 - $145
Georgia O’Keeffe’s Visions of Hawai’i at the New York Botanical Garden
Flowers and plants were subjects that engaged Georgia O’Keeffe consistently throughout her career. The NYBG presents a major exhibition exploring her immersion in the Hawaiian Islands in 1939, offering a rare focus on the paintings commissioned by Dole. Trip includes a guided tour of their conservatory, planted with a lush flower show evoking the gardens and landscapes that inspired O’Keeffe in Hawai‘i. There will be a boxed lunch served in the air-conditioned Garden Terrace Foyer. After lunch, participants can self-guide the gardens and the exhibition of 15 O’Keefe Hawaii paintings—not seen together in New York since their debut in 1940.
No refunds after May 31. Refunds subject to $20 fee.
