Nathaniel Greene our membership coordinator will contact you to collect your credit card information. This is required before we can process your bid. All absentee bids and forms must be received at the Museum by 5pm on September 22, 2018.

Dmitri Wright
Florence’s Garden
Value: $5,000

Oil, 24 x 30 inches, Spring 2018. Wright graduated from the Newark Academy for Industrial and Fine Arts, where he finished top of his class and studied under Samuel Brecher and Donald Brown. He then received the Max Beckmann International Scholarship at the Brooklyn Museum Art School and attended New York’s Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Wright is a painter, master art instructor, inspirational speaker, and poet. His classical academic training in the foundations used by the Renaissance and Impressionist masters is evident in his work. Wright’s works are housed in hundreds of collections throughout the world. This particular piece was created here at the Museum during this year’s GardenFest celebration and showcases the historic gardens and boardinghouse in the foreground.

Private FGM Tour and Dinner at the Bee & Thistle Inn with Director Becky Beaulieu

You and thirteen guests will begin your special night at the Museum with Director Becky Beaulieu and her husband Patrick Ford, enjoying a glass of wine before heading into the Krieble Galleries for a private tour of the new exhibition, Paper Trail, with Assistant Curator Jenny Parsons. After the tour you will stroll next door to the Bee & Thistle Inn and enjoy a four-course fireside dinner in their historic main dining room. The meal will be prepared by chef Kristofer Rowe with delectable wines by Sunset Hill Vineyard in Lyme and Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington. Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 6 – 8pm.
