Community History Tour
April 15, 2014 @ 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The Connecticut Historical Society (CHS) is touring the state. The Florence Griswold Museum is happy to host one of these town hall-style discussions, Open to the public, these discussions focus on the relevance today of history and its impact on local communities. CHS opens the floor to discussion on whether history is important or not and the reasons. “No doubt, Connecticut is a state rich in history,” says Jody Blankenship, director at CHS, “and we know people like to experience history in different ways. We want to better understand how the state’s communities feel about that. How do they want to see that happen, and how can we help? We’re ready for a no holds-barred conversation.”
