Degas and More at MoMA
April 28, 2016 @ 7:30 am - 7:00 pm
$100.00 – $115.00
Our study day at MoMA will begin with a guided tour of the exhibition Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty. Degas is best known as a painter and chronicler of the ballet, yet his work as a printmaker reveals the true extent of his restless experimentation. The exhibition includes approximately 120 rarely seen monotypes—along with some 50 related paintings, drawings, pastels, sketchbooks, and prints—that show Degas at his most modern. There will be time to self-guide the rest of the Museum and have lunch (on your own) after the tour.
