Gallery Talk: Background/Foreground—Abraham Lincoln & Andrew Jackson
Featuring Matthew Warshauer, Ph.D., Professor of History, Central Connecticut State University
Join Warshauer as he offers historical corrections regarding the biographies and overall impact of two towering figures in American history. He will then address Lahav’s updated portraits of the men, Lincoln shrouded in the American flag and Jackson in the cowboy guise of the Marlboro Man.
