Hands-On, Minds-On Education Area

Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Florence Griswold Museum from 10am – 3pm

Participate in a variety of free hands-on creative projects provided by local cultural organizations.

Come create a clever cork key ring with countless crafty contributions from community citizens.

Equine Learning Station – provided by High Hopes Therapeutic Riding
Children will learn the basics of all things horses, from the different parts of the horse, the basic care and feeding of horses, the various breeds, and the working disciplines of the equine industry through an interactive experience. Information will be available about therapeutic horsemanship and volunteer opportunities too!

Superhero Masks – provided by Old Lyme-PGN Library
The OL-PGN Library welcomes kids of all ages to unleash their inner heroes (and, of course, keep their secret identities safe) with our foam superhero masks! Be sure to stop by the Library Lawn to decorate a matching pair of cuffs.
