Lecture and Garden Walk: Butterfly Neighbors

August 6, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$5.00 – $7.00

John Himmelman, Author and Naturalist

Inspired by the collection of moths and butterflies on view at the Museum, Himmelman introduces participants to the current state of living butterflies and moths native to the region. In his beautifully illustrated lecture, Himmelman shares stories about the survival and subterfuge tactics of both butterflies and moths as well as how best to find them, taming the wild butterfly, and who’s fluttering about your yard right now. A book signing will conclude the event.
