LECTURE: Monuments of Industry: The History and Future of Connecticut’s Industrial Sites
October 26 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

with Michael Forino, Circuit Rider, Preservation Connecticut
$10 (Members 10% discount)
Historian and Preservation Connecticut Circuit Rider Michael Forino will explore the rich and diverse history of Connecticut’s industrial heritage. Connecticut’s manufacturing past has left the landscape dotted with the monuments of former industry. While some of these sites have been successfully reused, other languish in ruin.
Mr. Forino will continue with a discussion of preservation efforts to save some of the State’s most prominent industrial complexes, and what we can do to help preserve our industrial past.
Our current exhibition Abandon in Place: The Worlds of Anna Audette is on view September 30, 2023—January 28, 2024
