  • COVID-19 Update--Dear Friends, as part of the effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus, we have closed the Museum to the public through at least April 30, and have cancel all programs during this time. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the Museum soon (and often!), but until then, we encourage you to visit the Artists’ Trail, a half-mile walk around the Museum’s riverfront landscape and gardens. Check our website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) to stay up-to-date about the Museum’s status and enjoy beautiful images, on-line exhibitions, fun facts, and behind-the-scenes videos. Outdoor Tour: Designing the Artists’ Trail

Outdoor Tour: Designing and Implementing the Museum’s Artists’ Trail featuring Lauren Stimson, ASLA, Principal at STIMSON

Join Stimson for an integrated discussion of conceptual design, restoration planting and construction methods regarding the Museum’s new Artists’ Trail. The new transformative landscape Master Plan focuses on an expanded interpretation of the property’s history as a farm, while simultaneously restoring lost site ecologies for wildlife and birding habitats. Landscape experiences are choreographed along the new Artists’ Trail, providing visitors with a more authentic sense of the link between art, history, and site ecology.

Educational & Travel Program Refund Policy
No refunds for programs $20 and under, Broadway bus trips, or Christmastime Teas after transaction is complete.*
Refunds for programs over $20 are subject to a $20 cancellation fee.
Refunds (less $20 fee) are offered for cancellations made prior to a program’s noted refund date. Programs without a refund date can be cancelled one hour prior to event. No refunds after program takes place.
Unfortunately, program payments cannot be transferred to other programs after transaction is complete.
*Programs purchased in a bundle (several programs on one transaction) must be cancelled as a bundle to receive any refund.
