The Wonders of the Natural World: “Fragile Earth” Artists in Context

November 10, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$10.00 – $12.00

Jennifer Angus demonstrates the extraordinary diversity and beauty of insects, bringing both fantasy and the fantastic to life. Underlying her efforts will be the recognition of one of nature’s most numerous and diverse forms of life, and, increasingly, one that is in danger of dramatic declines. We will look at the recent studies that are disclosing the dramatic global losses of insects, and how that impacts nature as a whole. Locally, and in concert with Jennifer’s encouragement to understand and appreciate the role of insects in our own local ecosystems, we will look at what is being done and how everyone can play a role.

Featuring Judy Preston, Local Naturalist.

Note: Featured artist will not be present at this event.
