The Wonders of the Natural World: The Art of James Prosek in Context$10 – $12
To complement Prosek’s attention to the migrations of eels and moths, Preston reveals the mystery of local migrations and the sometimes-unlikely organisms that rely on movement to either adapt to or escape from local environmental conditions. Spiders, dragonflies, ospreys, and even mussels all migrate or take advantage of unique modes of transportation to survive. The local estuary region is home to a world of interesting and adaptive organisms. Class goals include fostering a greater understanding, appreciation, and ultimately protection for the diverse and wonderful world of nature in our backyards.
Featuring Judy Preston, Local Naturalist.
