VIRTUAL ADULT ART WORKSHOP: Crafting a Crumbling Corner
January 10, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until January 24, 2024
Wednesdays, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 1-4pm (on ZOOM)
with Amanda Kelly, Artist and Instructor, Panda Miniatures
$235 (Members 10% discount), limited to 12 adults 18+
Making miniatures is no small feat and crafting tiny worlds from scratch is both an art and a science. It draws from a long history of reflecting realities and generating new ones.
In this 12-hour workshop designed for beginners, Kelly will demonstrate how to create a miniature scene featuring a stone corner with crumbling wall and a window. Materials will be mailed ahead of the first class.
The final work is reminiscent of places in Anna Audette’s paintings, but in 1:12 scale.
