Wee Faerie Village

  • Please note - there is no yoga this Sunday, July 21.

September 28 through October 27, 2018

Visit the Museum this fall for our annual outdoor installation!

It’s a bird! It’s a plane. No, it’s Super-Faerie! Flying high and heading home to the special place where he and his fellow superfaeries live. Get ready to explore SUPERTOPIA: Wee Faerie Superheroes’ Headquarters and Hideaways that features nearly three-dozen faerie-scaled creations inspired by the hideouts and lairs of well-known (and perhaps some lesser known) superheroes.

Imagine coming upon the Bat Cave where Bat-Faerie and Robin-Faerie plan their heroic deeds. Or the awesome Fortress of Solitude where SuperFaerie recharges after defeating a mighty foe. Each superhero hideaways is based on the living situation of the superhero inspiration or mimic their super powers. And because so many superheroes are based on natural phenomenon (spiders, birds, bats, flora) their headquarters and hideouts will be mostly constructed with using natural materials.

Other wee fearie superheroes include Wonder-Faerie, Aqua-Faerie, Incredible-Faerie, Invisible-Faerie, Captain Faerieca, Marvel-Faerie, Iron-Faerie, Daredevil-Faerie, Hawk-Faerie, Doctor Strange-Faerie, Plastic-Faerie, Spider-Faerie, Raven-Faerie, Beast Boy-Faerie, Green Arrow-Faerie, Ant-Faerie, Flash-Faerie, Black Panther- Faerie, Super Girl-Faerie, Faerie-Fantastic, Swamp-Faerie, Ice-Faerie, Faerie- Wolverine, He-Faerie, Dead-Faerie, Faerie-Thor, the Faerie-Hulk, the Faerie-Ninja Turtles, Green Lantern-Faerie, etc. Some may look to the dark side and make hideaways for Poison Ivy-Faerie, Mr. Faerie-Freeze, Joker-Faerie, Riddler-Faerie, or Penguin-Faerie.

All in all, we are in for a Super WFV in 2019!

Watch the Museum’s social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for updates!
