Forging Ahead: Blacksmithing Demonstrations in Yesterville
Free with Museum Admission
with Baird Welch-Collins, Blacksmith
Join Welch-Collins as he shares history through stories and songs while he demonstrates the techniques and practices of early American metalworkers. Hailing from Marlborough, CT Welch-Collins teaches US History at Lyman Memorial High School in Lebanon. He also plays a variety of instruments and is the Pipe Major of Mystic Pipes and Drums.
Wee Faerie Village is on view at the Museum September 28–November 3.
