After a lovely lunch under the tent, we’ll hear from landscape architect Lauren Stimson of STIMSON in Princeton, MA whose vision helped bring to life the Robert F. Schumann Artists’ Trail woven through these historic grounds.

With passion for integrating cultural interpretation and ecological restoration, Lauren helped create this immersive experience that is now enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year and earned STIMSON a 2019 Merit Award for Analysis & Planning from the American Society of Landscape Architects. Touching on themes of nostalgia and wildness, Lauren will give insights into her work at the FloGris and the significance of this treasured landscape.

While you’re here, this place is yours to explore. Wander Miss Florence’s gardens, take in our stunning exhibition, Their Kindred Earth: Photographs by William Earle Williams, and enjoy the floral arrangements of Blooms with a View in the galleries and the Griswold House.

The Garden Luncheon supports the stewardship and preservation of the Museum’s historic gardens and riverside landscape.
