Impressionism was a sea-change event in the art world. From modern subject matter and color theory to an advancement in creative tools and technology, the Impressionists created on the frontier of modernity. Join two skilled practitioners for a 90-minute presentation regarding the history, tools, and techniques of the Impressionists and how it influenced the artists in the Museum’s collection. The event will feature a slide show presentation, props, original paintings, and a painting demonstration. A visit to the gallery will conclude the event.
