with Linda Turner, Gardens Coordinator
$15 (Members 10% discount); includes informational handout, seeds, and a plant
Add color and interest to your gardens by planting annuals among perennials. Participants will be introduced to heirloom annuals that were popular in the past that are making a comeback today. Heliotrope, Balsam, Stock, and Mignonette are just a few varieties that you can grow from seed (or find at specialty nurseries). A slide show will feature heirloom varieties as they were once used and examples of how to incorporate them today along with cultural information about each.
