GARDEN EVENT: Herbs: History, Culture, and Recipes

Herbs have a long history. Cleopatra once purportedly called Lemon Balm, “As sweet as Balm, as soft as air, as gentle.”

Lemon balm is just one of many plants still used for healing, fragrance, and ornament. Common as well as unusual herbs will be discussed in this fun and informative program along with illustrative slides.

Recipes will be shared with samples and iced herb tea. Herbs will also be available for sale. Experience the joy of using herbs every day!

Educational & Travel Program Refund Policy
No refunds for Broadway bus trips or Miss Florence’s Teas after transaction is complete. Refunds for programs over $20 are subject to a $20 cancellation fee. Refunds (less $20 fee) are offered for cancellations made prior to a program’s noted refund date. Programs without a refund date can be cancelled one hour prior to event.
