LECTURE: A Journey to Understanding Oneself Through the Footsteps of Ancestors
January 19, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
with Dr. Melissa Gwen Nadeau (Schaghticoke)
This event is free but advance reservations are required – click here to reserve
In this lecture, Melissa will examine how her mother’s relationship with her ancestry defined her own relationship to her First Nation heritage. The power of resilience is examined through the entanglement of historical context and cultural displacement. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
