Why does representing the experience of nature in painting continue to resonate so deeply? Join Friese for a discussion of her work on view in the current exhibition, Nancy Friese: Living Landscapes as she offers an overview of decades of working en plein air in both the contemporary and historical contexts. She will also share her working methods, materials, chosen sites, reflections, and anecdotes from working in the living landscape.
